Guest Speaker – Natasha Bye BSc Hons Ph.D., Soar Beyond Associate

A scientist by background, Natasha has 20 years of industry experience in healthcare and pharma – from consumer health through to prescription borderline substances, medical devices, and nursing services. Having worked across Marketing, Field Sales, Medical Affairs, Public Affairs and Market Access, she is no stranger to the challenges and opportunities of working with the NHS.  Now running her own consultancy, Strategy Doctor, Natasha focuses on helping organisations to build clear and unambiguous strategies for growth, and to build their organisation behind those strategies. In addition, as a speaker and a comedian, Natasha aims to make all her training and talks as enjoyable and as accessible for audiences as possible.

Guest Speaker – Ross MacPhee, Chase Business Development Manager

Ross joined CHASE in January 2018.  His role is Business Development Manager for their CSO range of services, which means he develops and maintains the business relationships with their customers, so he can then find solutions to their business challenges.  For CHASE these solutions include teams that engage with customers, collaborative working and patient support, brand strategy & management, clinical trial delivery as well as all forms of recruitment. Prior to joining CHASE Ross worked in a variety of sales management, operations and business development positions more latterly leading multi-channel sales services in the UK and Europe.  Ross says you would only need to spend a short time in the CHASE offices to understand the desire and effort to deliver for their customers.

Guest Speaker – Julia Blagburn, Senior Lead Clinical Pharmacist, Newcastle upon Tyne NHS Foundation Trust.

Julia learned her pharmacy trade at Leeds Teaching Hospitals and was awarded a professional doctorate by the University of Bradford for her research on evidence-based clinical pharmacy practice for older people in hospital. Now back in Newcastle where she grew up, she heads a team of clinical pharmacists and clinical pharmacy technicians working in Primary Care Networks, General Practice, and private providers across Newcastle, all employed and supported by secondary care. Her personal motto is ‘Better together’.
