    In ‘The Christmas Carol’, Ebeneezer Scrooge has an epiphany when he realises that, if he doesn’t change, he will be designated to a life of misery and woe. And so it seems that the NHS has bucked itself up and, through Simon Stevens’ leadership, put in place the key measures to get its life back in order. In this piece, we revisit the ghosts of Christmas past, present and future to see what the future holds - can STPs, ACOs, GPFV and other acronym-ridden policies really drive the culture change and reform needed to bring a sustainable NHS?

  • PF Awards Judging

    What we can all learn from observations of a Pf Awards Judge… Mother Teresa said 'If you judge people, you have no time to love them’ and that was the premise I was brought up with, so it was with some curiosity and trepidation that I went in to the Pf awards as a first-time expert judge this year (Shailen has been doing it for about six years and was a dab-hand!).
